CBT was founded by Peter Torbiak (aka Peter Tee). He is a certified (Manitoba &

NWT) teacher and principal. As a business man Peter owned 2 hotels/cafes and

built a lodge in the Interlake.

Peter learned to use computers/software to assist him in the operation of his

businesses. When teaching he was often asked to train teachers to use MS Office.

Later, as a business consultant with Red River North, he trained new business

owners to use QuickBooks.

The sincere gratitude expressed by business owners and teachers got Peter

hooked on training as a new career. He founded CBT to continue the work he liked

best and to use the skills he acquired. CBT was incorporated in 1995 to help

business owners adapt to computers and software in their operations.

Today CBT operates from Winnipeg, with no secretaries, fancy offices/furniture

or other perks – just leading edge training for our clients. Low overhead keeps

prices very low. CBT specializes in one-on-one training, but presented custom

training to hundreds of groups.
